Meet our Founding Coach

Marisa Lucchesi
Founding Coach & Managing Director

Hi there. I’m Marisa Lucchesi, the Founding Coach and Managing Director of On Being Group. My mission? To help good humans, like you, unlock their true potential through warm and transformative coaching.

I’ve been an earnest student of inner work my entire life. For as long as I can remember, self-discovery and life’s deeper meaning have been the primary passions of my heart.

Gratefully, I have many excellent teachers. In 2024, I’ll be completing the prestigious Newfield Network coaching program — one of the top coaching programs in the world — and becoming certified in ontological coaching through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). This modality of coaching, combined with my studies under spiritual teacher, Diana Zaheer, and influences from Eastern ancient wisdom traditions, like Buddhism, allows me to guide clients through profound personal and professional transformations. I have received training through the IFS Institute (IFS-informed), which models human psyches as a system of many inner parts led by a core Self.

My presence tends to be warm, strong, and direct—sometimes analytical—to get to the heart of the matter. Generally, I am flexible and adapt to my client’s particular situation and learning style. I have cultivated a deep and abiding friendship with the many parts of myself, and this friendship manifests in a friendliness outward toward my clients and the broader world.

My decade-long career as a leader in strategic consulting meant I developed roadmaps for companies like Google, T-Mobile, Unilever, and Pinterest to launch and optimize their products, improve their customer experiences, and drive profitability. My business background has sharpened my ability to lead international teams, navigate the brass tax decisions around P&L, and develop innovative strategies that have driven millions in value for my corporate clients.

I hold a Master's Degree in Economics from Tulane University, emphasizing Behavioral Economics, which combines psychological and economic disciplines. This training in social science and applied research has given me an appreciation for data, evidence-backed research, and the social conditioning individuals carry today.

Much of my learning journey has arisen from my own identity and privilege. I am multiracial with Thai and Italian-American ancestry. In my career, I have held formal roles in DEI-B (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging) and feel passionately about social justice. In my own life, I understand the complexities of navigating multiple cultures and feeling like an outsider. This perspective enriches my coaching practice, enabling me to connect deeply with many types of clients.

I am LGBTQIA-friendly and welcome people of all backgrounds to our coaching practice.

I am currently based in Boulder, CO. Although most of my sessions are virtual, I’m deeply dedicated to creating a supportive and empowering environment wherever we are. My goal is to help you achieve your aspirations and live a life aligned with your deepest values.

If this all sounds good to you, let’s embark on this transformative journey together. Ready? Let’s get started!
